The invention aims to achieve the early diagnosis of Dyslexia to 4 – 8 years old children, which can be widely adopted on mobile devices, through a gamified and interactive manner. The early identification of Dyslexia can improve the effectiveness of the treatment. We applied 3D printing, Augmented reality, and gamification to prepare our testing materials and digital solution. With the capability of early identification, parents and school can help their children during prime time.
Using Augmented Reality technology to match gamified learning:
At home, we can make it easy for students to use the mobile app at home with a simple test package. Different AR toys can also train pre-school children in identifying the "same" and "different" abilities, such as color and shape.
Identifying student without words:
Compared with the mobile phone application in society now a day, we mainly use graphics and patterns to create identification packages. We hope to identify potential cases of Dyslexia for preschool children as early as possible to avoid being ignored because of a lack of knowledge about the text.
Combining Artificial Intelligence to monitor student learning (future development):
When the student uses the test kit on the mobile application, the front lens on the mobile phone cooperates with the Artificial Intelligence technology to identify the facial expression and concentration of the schoolchild to follow up on the learning situation of the schoolchild in the recognition process.
1. Open the augmented reality function by parent's assistance
2. Using the camera of the device to recognize the picture of the characters
3. A game scene will appear on the device
4. After three-game scenes, you'll enter the next level of the game
If the student gets a low score, it means that the student may have a larger tendency to Dyslexia. It is recommended to seek expert assistance.
In contrast, if the student gets a high score, it means that the student may have a smaller tendency to Dyslexia.
